    Job Duties: Duties may include: Assist with daily farm functions including but not limited to: operating various equipment for planting, spraying and harvesting of crops and manure application; machinery maintenance, and repair; grain handling, hauling farm commodities. Crops: corn, corn silage, soybeans, oats, alfalfa. Duties may also include: rock picking, mowing; maintaining fence & other related Ag Equipment Operator activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org).

     

    This job involves manual labor: Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 50lbs; may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area.

     

    ### Minimum Education Required

    No High School Diploma or GED required.

    ### Minimum Experience Required

    2 months of experience required.

     

    Must be 18 years of age. Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.

     

    Worker must be able to obtain a valid US Driver's License within 2 weeks of reporting to work and possess/maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

     

    This is a drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone.

    EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.

     

    Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
