Description

Functional Areas of Responsibility

+ Accurate quantity take-off

+ Cost estimating

+ Productivity analysis

+ Business partner solicitation

+ Development of vendor bid tabs and selection

+ Scheduling

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

+ Review and analyze project plans and specifications

+ Perform quantity take-off as directed

+ Preparation of discipline cost estimates

+ Assist in solicitation of subcontractor and supplier quotes to assure sufficient coverage of all scopes of work

+ Assist in schedule preparation and analysis

Qualifications Required for this Position

Education

+ Bachelor’s degree in related field (engineering or construction management degree preferred), or equivalent experience

Experience

+ Basic knowledge of construction documents, construction techniques, and equipment capabilities

+ High degree of accuracy with work product and calculations

+ Computer skills, including Microsoft Office

+ Oral and written communication skills
