    Aspirus Ironwood Hospital in Ironwood, MI is seeking a HOSPITAL SUPERVISOR to join our NURSING ADMINISTRATION t eam!

     

    The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for the overall functioning of all nursing units and the provision of safe patient care on a shift basis. Services as a resource for other hospital departments during off shifts and weekends.

     

    HOURS: Full Time; 0.9 FTE or 72 hours per pay period. Night Shift.

    Experience/Qualifications

    + RN Michigan Licensure

    + Bachelor’s Degree preferred

    + ACLS, BLS, NRP

    + Three to five years of acute care experience

    + One to two years supervisory experience preferred

    + Demonstrated leadership abilities and excellent communication

    + Working knowledge of various Microsoft applications and database concepts

    + Ability to coach and mentor

    + Possess interpersonal skills necessary in order to interact efficiently with all levels of hospital personnel

    Aspirus Ironwood Hospital includes a 25-bed critical access hospital, multi-specialty clinic, satellite clinic in Wisconsin, surgical clinic, walk-in clinic and a home health agency. Ironwood's service area covers approximately 30,000 people. The hospital has a 4 bed ICU, 3 bed OB unit, and 4 surgical units. The emergency department is staffed 24/7 with ER physicians, with approximately 12,000 visits annually. The hospital's inpatient census is 10 patients per day. The outpatient clinic has over 50,000 visits annually.
