Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital in Rhinelander, WI is seeking a INVENTORY CONTROL SPECIALIST to join our SUPP CHAIN OPS AND LOGISTICS team!

Ensures adequate inventory of materials and products in accordance with inventory classifications, cycle counts, cost containment, and organizational philosophy. Conducts daily inventory analysis to solve inventory problems. Develops and implements inventory control procedures. Coordinates and manages daily physical cycle counts. Trains and helps direct an inventory team. Pulls and uses historical data and trends to forecast and create action plans. Recommends, sets, and maintains minimums, maximums, replenishment points, and par levels. Assists with the creation, modification, and management of inventory locations to align with the goals of the organization. Reports trends and progress to leadership on a regular basis. Utilizes benchmarks, history, experience, and judgment to plan and accomplish goals on time and under budget.

HOURS: Full-Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks.

Experience/Qualifications

+ High school diploma required.

+ Knowledge of inventory control standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.

+ Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Inventory Control preferred, along with familiarity with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures.

+ Certifications in APICS, CMRP, or CPSM preferred.

+ Demonstrates strong clerical and computer skills. Must be able to use Excel spreadsheets for detailed analysis, with the ability to perform v-lookups and pivot tables. Experience with Microsoft Access and SQ3 are preferred.
