Description

**Position Summary:** Position that falls within a collective bargaining agreement that performs and produces quality parts for various customer requirements at our location in Muskegon Michigan.

Essential Job Functions:

Under guidance of the department supervisor, execute the following:

+ Assemble and disassemble military diesel engines and transmissions, and sub-components

+ Follow documented process books for customer specific assembly

+ Read and comprehend instructions following established procedures

+ Assemble parts according to processes provided in established procedures

+ Perform required pressure tests on parts to ensure quality standards are met

+ Use hand gauges such as: Micrometers, Calipers, Dial Indicators and Go NoGo gauges

+ Perform and maintain On the Job Training (OJT) requirements

+ Any and all other duties as assigned by management

Position Requirements

_Qualification Requirements:_

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

+ 2+ years of Assembly experience

+ Must be able to read orders and work instructions

+ Must be able to read and understand processes and process drawings

+ Must have mechanical skills

+ Must have mathematical skills

+ Must be able to lift and bend up to and including 50 lbs.

+ Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance

_Preferred Additional Skills:_

+ Material Handling experience preferred

+ 2 years Machining experience preferred
