About the Internship
Our 10‑week summer internship program (June 1, 2026 - August 7, 2026) is designed to give emerging talent meaningful, hands‑on experience. You’ll work with a stable, industry‑leading technology company while collaborating with experts who are shaping the future of financial services.
As aSoftware Design Engineer Test Internat Jack Henry, you’ll join a high‑impact automation team building modern testing solutions forEpisys, our flagship core processing platform. If you thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and love solving real‑world engineering challenges, this is the place for you.
This role is full‑time (40 hours/week), Monday–Friday, with a pay rate of$25/hour(benefits not included). You may work in a hybrid capacity from ourAllen, TXoffice location.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
+ Partnering with product scrum teamsto design and develop test cases, and bringing them to life through automation.
+ Writing automation testsusing modern programming languages and development practices.
+ Documenting findingsand helping standardize new testing methods and processes.
What You’ll Need to Have
+ Enrollment in an accredited university, technical program, coding bootcamp, or technical certification program with a graduation date ofDecember 2026, or May 2027.
+ Pursuit of aBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Information Systems.
+ Ability to work40 hours per weekthroughout the internship with minimal absences.
+ Authorization to work in the U.S.without current or future sponsorship.
What Would Be Nice to Have
+ Academic or hands‑on experience with anobject‑oriented programming language—C# or Java preferred.
+ A basic understanding ofAgile/Scrummethodologies.
+ A passion forcollaboration, teamwork, and continuous learning.
