Job Summary:
As the **Hydraulic Systems Engineering Project Team Lead** , you will serve as a technical leader and project coordinator, driving complex engineering projects from concept to completion. This role emphasizes technical excellence, cross-functional collaboration, and influencing stakeholders, without direct people management responsibilities. You will ensure hydraulic system solutions meet performance, quality, and business objectives.
What You Will Do:
+ Work with machine business divisions, hydraulic system engineering, and hydraulic strategy groups to identify NPI, NTI, NSI, assurance of supply, and cost reduction opportunities for hydraulic valves.
+ Oversee project progress, timelines, and costs; communicate status through regular gate reviews; address and resolve technical and operational challenges.
+ Align efforts across component design, detailing, releasing, hydraulics strategy, manufacturing facilities, purchasing, and supply chain teams.
+ Play an active role in supplier selection and development of potential suppliers.
+ Act as gatekeeper, ensuring that all sourcing projects are identified and ready for review by the Hydraulics Sourcing Council
Education requirement:
+ Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.

Project Management:
+ Lead end-to-end engineering projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
+ Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and risk mitigation strategies.
+ Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with project goals and milestones.
+ Oversee hydraulics-related projects, ensuring technical and operational requirements are met throughout the lifecycle.
Technical Excellence:
+ Maintain deep technical knowledge in hydraulic systems and components.
+ Review and validate technical designs, specifications, and documentation.
+ Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies to guide innovation and improvement.
+ Provide hands-on support in solving complex engineering challenges involving hydraulic systems.
Influencing Through Expertise:
+ Build trust and credibility with stakeholders through strong technical insight and clear communication.
+ Advocate for engineering solutions that align with business objectives and customer needs.
+ Lead technical discussions and influence decision-making across departments and project teams.
+ Present hydraulics-related concepts and project strategies to non-technical audiences to gain support and drive action.
Additional Information:
This position requires the candidate **to work onsite five days a week at the Tucson, AZ or Mossville, IL office.**
Domestic relocation assistance is available for this position.

This position may require up to 10% travel.
Summary Pay Range:
$128,470.00 - $192,710.00
