    Job Summary:

    Caterpillar is embarking on a bold digital transformation to revolutionize our dealers’ systems - seamless, intelligent, and designed for the future. We are developing a scalable, modern ERP solution for Caterpillar dealers, built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Azure Integration Services. This next-generation platform will leverage pre-configured business processes, optimized workflows and AI-powered automation to streamline operations, accelerate digital capability deployment, and elevate customer experience across our global dealer network.

     

    We are seeking an ERP transformation Change Management Lead to accelerate outcomes for dealers and internal teams using change management principles and thought leadership. This high-impact role is part of a newly launched strategic initiative and will serve as a delivery orchestrator, aligning teams to key milestones, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring consistent, high-quality outcomes.

    What You Will Do:

    Provides Dealer and Internal Change Management support, thought leadership, and guidance to ensure effective adoption of the Cat ERP solution leveraging Microsoft D365. This role included responsibility for the dealer training strategy to help accelerate the dealer’s business transformation.

     

    + Managing the day-to-day activities of change management projects, including overseeing project responsibilities and schedules. Developing contingency plans for potential risks.

    + Dealer training strategy development and execution.

    + Internal change management best practice implementation to ensure alignment across workstreams.

    + Dealer training strategy, approach (tools, process), resourcing to support dealer change efforts

    + Assist team in stakeholder updates to influence ongoing change in behavior, process, etc

    + Manage intake of product features through the DRB from Product teams to ensure adoption and understanding for GTM execution.

    + Develop and Deploy Dealer change management framework and guidance to ensure uptake of Cat ERP solution.

    + Educating global users on Change Management processes, methods and systems

    + Participating in business requirements gathering sessions, documenting requirements, and supporting development work with internal partners related to necessary tooling.

    + Identifying areas of opportunity to improve the dealer experience and accelerate time-to-market

    + Monitoring & Evaluation: Track key metrics and assess the success of change management initiatives to ensure they are embedded and effective.

    + Build and share knowledge through various channels, including blogs, workshops, and training sessions.

    + Educate end-users, champions and stakeholders to make this transition or transformation beneficial without anxiety or fear.

    + Measure the success of the transition or transformation via dashboard/BI tools.

    What You Will Have:

    ERP & Systems Knowledge (MS Dynamics 365 focus)

    + Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 in a product, process or deployment leadership role.

    Planning: Tactical, Strategic:

    + Skilled at developing, refining, and communicating tactical plans for large scale, complex projects, preferably dealer related.

    + Experience working across the organization at various levels that include business partners and stakeholders.

    Project Administration:

    + Ability to assess and report project risks and issues.

    + Conducts regular progress meetings, tracks and reports on the progress made in a project team.

    Decision Making and Critical Thinking:

    + Ensures the planning process is integrated with the overall business plan and goals.

    Implementation:

    + Knowledge of how to run applications for organizations; ability to implement application software within an organization and help end-users perform specific tasks (ex: ERP and CRM products).

    + Significant experience in digital deployments, IT operations, or program/project management.

    Standards, Procedures & Policies:

    + Strong knowledge of change management for large, transformational projects

    + Identifies process improvements, creates plans to address, and implements plans with all business partners.

    Considerations For Top Candidates:

    + Knowledge and experience with enterprise change management for D365 solutions.

    + Technical background with a solid understanding of IT systems and their interactions.

    + Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work with several dealers simultaneously.

    + Demonstrated experience influencing others and working across a matrixed organization.

    + Experience working with BI tools for dashboard and reports; preferably Power BI

    + Previous agile training (sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint, retrospective)

    + Working knowledge of Azure DevOps

    + Exceptional facilitation and stakeholder management abilities.

    + Experience presenting to and interacting with executive leaders.

    + Capacity to build consensus and simplify complex information.

    + Advance knowledge of Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project

    + Knowledge of the Caterpillar digital portfolio preferred

    + Knowledge Caterpillar Dealer Operations preferred

    Summary Pay Range:

    $128,470.00 - $192,710.00

     

    Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
