    Treatment Director – Specialized Offender Services

     

    Lead clinical care. Strengthen reintegration. Help people change.

     

    Volunteers of America Delaware Valley is seeking an experienced, mission-driven Treatment Director of Specialized Offender Services to provide clinical leadership and direct services for participants in our Community Resource Center (CRC) and Family Violence Prevention Program (FVPP). In this role, you’ll deliver assessment and treatment services, coordinate multidisciplinary care, and serve as a key liaison with referring agencies—supporting safer communities and stronger outcomes.

     

    You’ll be part of a treatment team focused on evidence-based interventions for mental health, sex offender–specific counseling, and intimate partner abuse intervention.

    What You’ll Do:

    * Provide direct clinical social work services including assessment, consultation, therapy, and advocacy * Conduct biopsychosocial interviews with clients, families, and involved agencies to support diagnosis and planning * Complete clinical assessments that inform treatment plans for improved functioning and community reintegration * Facilitate individual counseling and group interventions * Coordinate and support the Multi-Disciplinary Treatment Team, aligning treatment with risk assessment, behavioral monitoring, and management needs * Maintain a robust directory of community resources (health care, social services, housing, entitlements/disability, and vocational supports) * Make appropriate referrals and ensure effective linkage to services * Serve as liaison between clients, referring agencies, and the CRC/FVPP programs to support continuity of care * Prepare findings, conclusions, and recommendations in required reports for funding sources * Document progress in permanent client files and collect data as required * Participate in internal/external meetings, supervision, trainings, and program coordination activities * Perform other duties as assigned

    What You Need:

    * Professional mental health license (LPC or LCSW) and/or 2 years of appropriate experience * Working knowledge of Social Learning Theory, Cognitive-Behavioral interventions, Motivational Interviewing, and assessment/evaluation practices * Training and experience in domestic violence is required * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage clients effectively and professionally * Excellent written/verbal communication skills and strong documentation ability * Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage priorities * Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency driving standards
