The **NGL Marketer** role is the commercial manager of their regional web and is responsible for:
+ Gross Margin generation
+ Flow assurance of physical products
+ Develop and implement a marketing plan to maximize the value using assets and infrastructure in regional web.
+ The Marketer works closely with operations and internal functional teams to ensure end to end commercial process from deal making to invoicing and payment.
+ Each marketer leads the physical flow of propane and/or butane, storage fill and withdraws and basis exposure for the regional business.
+ Working within BP’s risk and control framework, contract with external parties to source and market physical propane/butane volumes across the existing portfolio of assets.
+ Use strong negotiation skills to implement spot and term contracts, as well as working with origination and trading to support new business growth opportunities.
Key Accountabilities:
+ Build and manage relationships with customer, producer and infrastructure counterparts to manage are aligned with the current marketing and trading framework and growth aspirations.
+ Optimize and provide flow assurance to equity and third-party producers and refiners.
+ Construct and implement product purchase and sales agreements to maintain and grow portfolio.
+ Serve as internal subject matter expert on domestic flows and regional basis markets for their region.
+ Operate within delegated authority and internal control and compliance framework.
+ Develop and maintain key counterparty relationships across the NGL value chain to bring value for BP.
+ Build and maintain relationships across BP’s NGL team, broader trading and shipping organization and functional stakeholders.
Essential Education, Experience and Job Requirements:
+ Bachelor´s degree - BA/BS in fields of finance, economics, engineering or similar
+ Experience in NGL market experience and/or similar domestic markets
+ Experience of liquid fuel marketing and logistics
+ Relevant commercial experience demonstrating strategic thinking, risk/reward evaluation, commercial insights, deal structuring, financial acumen
Desirable Criteria:
+ Working knowledge of Solarc Right Angle, ETRM system
+ Advanced degrees a plus
+ Detailed understanding of refinery butane balancing, butane blending or gasoline blending
+ Knowledge of deal approval protocols, credit, contracts, accounting
