Overview
The Director of FP&A will partner closely with the PDX CFO and FP&A VP to provide optimal Financial Planning and Analysis to the PDX business units and PDX CFO. Promotes best practices across varied business units with focus on quality and efficiency by working with Managers and Ops teams and understanding day-to-day challenges. Provides hands‐on oversight and expertise on large or complex situations.
Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis (Pillar Consolidation)
+ Function as a business partner to the PDX CFO to provide guidance and insights of Pillar performance with a large focus on results from Actuals, Budgets, and Reforecasts
+ Track Pillar and Agency performance through various P&L KPI’s for growth, staff costs/HC, overhead, and margin as well as Trade Working Capital. Deploying the team to research and ask for further details when dealing with material variances
+ Ad hoc analysis to identify financial trends, including any potential risks or challenges, and highlighting any opportunities for improvement.
+ Partner with Pillar HQ finance to ensure adjustments for rolling forecasts and during month end close
+ Ensure that there is communication and collaboration between the pillar Consolidation FP&A team and the Agency FP&A team.
+ Assess and optimize the financial systems and tools used for financial planning and analysis and recommend improvements.
+ Ensure Revenue projections are in line with and sourced out of pipeline reporting via Salesforce
Employee Training and Development
+ Manages 2-4 direct reports at the Associate Director and/or Manager level with focus on growth and development.
+ Coaches and develops staff at all levels, leading by example.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
+ 10+ years of Finance work experience considered, advertising experience a plus
+ Must be able to drive innovation through the use of systems/tools and deliver efficiencies
+ Strong technical skills, especially Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
+ Experience with Hyperion (HFM), Pigment, and Salesforce are pluses
+ Effective communication skills
+ Experience presenting financial information to non‐financial teams
+ Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to maintain and grow positive relationships
+ Self‐motivation to work independently
+ Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment

Compensation Range: $121,315- $194,220 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
