    The Adel DeSoto Minburn Community School District is seeking a highly motivated, quality applicant to work as an early elementary teacher in a 1st grade classroom at Adel Elementary for the 2026-27 school year. Adel Elementary is a progressive preschool through first grade building with small class sizes and an energetic, passionate staff that currently educates approximately 400 students. Candidates must lead with humility and strive for continued improvement. Applicants must be highly collaborative and able to analyze student achievement data to make instructional decisions. The ADM staff is committed to the Professional Learning Community model and this position would require a dedication to collaborative teaming and student achievement. The ideal candidate would possess a passion for student achievement and emotional wellbeing, have experience integrating technology within the classroom, and strive for continued instructional improvement. Requirements:

     

    + Valid Iowa Teacher License K-6 Endorsement

    + Highly Preferred: Reading Minor or Endorsement
