• Project Analyst

    Sysco (Houston, TX)


    Scope:

    Under direct supervision, support and coordinate projects for senior members of the project management team. Deliver specific project artifacts, as directed by the Program Manager. Assemble project team, assign individual responsibilities, and develop schedule to ensure timely completion of project.

    Essential Functions:

    + Build and maintain project schedule. Produce weekly status reports. Execute on deliverables as directed by Project Managers.

    + Coordinate and schedule project related meetings to resolve risks, issues, 6or requests for scope change. Capture and publish project meeting minutes.

    + Maintain collaboration site and artifact repositories, including risks and issue lists.

    + Submit and track project purchase requests. Update resource assignments and allocations in WorkDay.

    + Onboard third-party resources to specific projects.

    + Continuously learn and research new techniques and methodologies to solve project-related issues.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Coursework toward Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    + Experience with project management tools and methodology.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + 3 years of project management experience in a project management, project coordinator or project analyst role.

    + CAPM/PMP or similar certification.

    + Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.

    + Experience with Agile Methodology.

    + Demonstrated ability to lead or host presentations and facilitate meetings.
