    Job Description

    Position Overview

    The primary objective of this position is to provide accounting, reporting, FP&A, and consolidations leadership to the US Therapeutics organization. This position is responsible for all reporting and planning activities related to Balance Sheet, DSO / Working Capital / Cash Flow, and budget management. This includes actuals, LBEs (latest best estimates), annual Plan, LRP (Long Range Plan) for both Balance Sheet and P&L. This position provides insights to US Therapeutics Leadership on risks and opportunities based on understanding of the results and partnering with US Therapeutics’ Business Units, Accounts Receivables team, FSS (Finance Shared Services), Demand Planning, and Pricing.

    Core Responsibilities

    + Financial Reporting:

    + Prepares, consolidates, and presents monthly Balance Sheet and DSO package for review by US Therapeutics Finance senior leadership and submission to AbbVie’s Global and Corporate functions. Fully understands account balances and investigates variances to prior periods and benchmarks to provide clear and concise commentary.

    + P&L ownership of key headquarter budgets. Partners with business owners investigates variances to prior periods and benchmarks to provide clear and concise commentary.

    + Key contact and responsible for year-end tax packages, legal entity reporting, etc.

    + Financial Planning and Analysis:

    + Prepares, consolidates, and presents Balance Sheet / Working Capital / Cash Flow, as well as DSO, for Plan, LRP, and quarterly LBEs in alignment with Global and Corporate requirements.

    + Prepares and presents key headquarter budgets for all planning cycles.

    + Ensure financial planning and reporting deliverables are accurate, clear, and concise for Executive level review and approval, for above mentioned planning areas.

    + Strategic Business Partnership:

    + Be a strategic partner to US Therapeutics and provide clear and concise output deliverables that are Executive management ready.

    + Work closely with FSS, Global and Corporate teams to develop and achieve optimal Finance Operating Model, Balance Sheet analytics, and Working Capital improvements.

    + Support Finance System Planning and Reporting

    + Decision Support / Special Projects -- Provide analyses for ad hoc or other business presentations that lend insight into key business drivers enabling senior management to adapt more appropriate tactics / strategy to meet both short- and long-term objectives

    + People Leadership and Development:

    + Responsible for effectively leading and developing direct report ensure an optimal level of support.

    + Provide coaching and career development opportunities to sustain a high performing staff.

    Reports To:

    + Financial Reporting Director, US Therapeutics

    + Effectively manage matrix relationships with US/Global/Corporate Finance, FSS, Accounts Receivables, Pricing, and US Therapeutics Leadership

    Qualifications

    Required:

    + Minimum 7 years progressive accounting or finance experience

    + Extensive Balance Sheet and Cash Flow experience in reporting and planning

    + FP&A and P&L management for reporting and planning

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    + Experience in leading and motivating a team in a dynamic business environment to successfully achieve results / deliverables

    + Ability to solve business problems through the proactive identification of issues and subsequent collection, analysis, and interpretation of related data

    + Experience working independently as well as team environments and integrating activities across multiple functions / divisions

    + The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. ​

    + We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick), medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.​

    + This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs. ​

    Salary: $106,500 - $202,500
