    **Pay Rate:** $19.29 per hour | **Contract:** 5 months | **Schedule:** Mon - Fri

    What’s a typical day as a Plant Operator? You’ll be:

     

    + Raw material receiving (e.g. upon arrival of raw materials, you will check/confirm the bill of lading VS our purchase order, unload the raw material into our plant, sample the raw material for QA testing, log in our system the amount of product received, when and from whom.)

    + Assist with raw material inventory readings and control

    + Generating paperwork related to customer deliveries (load description sheet showing what product & quantity is loaded where and to whom it will be delivered, delivery tickets, inventory depletion log entry confirming gallons leaving our plant)

    + Batching (manufacturing) of our finished products from Bills of Materials (batch tickets)

    + Loading finished product for delivery to customer sites (generally pumping & metering bulk liquid product from plant storage tanks into either totes or semi tanker trucks)

    + Pumping finished product from mix tanks to plant storage or finished goods load out in trailers

    + Answering incoming calls to the plant & taking/forwarding messages when needed

    + Processing customer delivery paperwork upon return of delivery truck (recovering signed customer delivery receipts and distributing them internally to the proper Chryso team members)

    + Plant & equipment maintenance (washing delivery truck, cleaning plant, repairing pumps & meters as needed)

    + Any reasonable business needs. Chryso is an entrepreneurial environment, and our employees are required to wear many hats on a daily basis

    This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

    + High School diploma or equivalent education

    + 1+ year of Sit-Down Forklift (2 prong) operating experience required

    + Current driver’s license and good driving record

    + Organized, conscientious, able to prioritize activities, manage time & tasks for maximum efficiency

    + Strong aptitude for basic math and attention to detail in sequential work

    + Basic understanding of computers and computer-controlled equipment, with general knowledge and user skills with: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Internet

    + Command of the English language

    + Be able to work in weather conditions that may be adverse (hot/cold/rain)

    + Dependable for occasional early morning start or late evening finish times

    + Able to lift 55 lbs unassisted. Able to climb ladders. Able to work/stand on concrete plant floor for extended periods of time.
