Certified Nursing Assistant - Emergency Department

Schedule: PRN Nights 7pm-7am

PRN Requirements: Must work 4 twelve hour shifts within the 6 week scheduling period.

Department: Emergency Department

Our Emergency Department is a 26 bed unit that specializes in providing immediate medical care for patients with server or urgent illnesses or injuries.

We’re Looking for:

+ Critical Care Experience – REQUIRED

+ A calm demeanor under pressure

What You'll Do

Provides and documents assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.

What We're Looking For

+ Education: High school diploma or GED required.

+ Experience: One year preferred. Assisted Living facilities only: One year experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required

+ Licensure/certification/registration: Completion of NAI program required. Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I required. Medication Safety - AME required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units required.

+ Additional skills preferred: Basic computer skills for documentation.
