At Kelly® Professional & Industrial, we’re seeking an **Optical Fabricator / CNC Machinist** to work for a premier optics manufacturer in **West Henrietta, NY.** With us, it’s all about finding the right opportunity for you!

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00/hr. (Depending on experience).

Schedule: Day Shift, Monday - Friday.

**Summary:** In this role, the Optical Fabricator will support production by manufacturing custom lens assemblies and precision optical systems. The ideal candidate will have a background in optical systems and components, experience in glass fabrication, and the ability to use root cause analysis tools to identify and resolve issues.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

+ Perform optical fabrication tasks including CNC curve generation, CNC centering, hand beveling, blocking, hand grinding, and CNC/conventional polishing

+ Conduct optical inspection and metrology using precision instruments

+ Follow layouts and schedules for generation, blocking, grinding, and polishing areas

+ Maintain cleanliness of machines, tools, equipment, and the general work area

+ Comply with all health and safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements

+ Support company values, including ethical conduct and high integrity in all actions

+ Complete other duties as assigned

This job might be an outstanding fit if you…

+ Have a High School Diploma or GED (Required)

+ Have 2+ years of experience in optical fabrication or related manufacturing (Required)

+ Possess a high degree of accuracy and alertness when using precision measuring tools and high-speed cutting wheels

+ Are experienced with JDE MRP software

+ Can work in noisy environments and wear cleanroom attire when needed
