    Job overview and responsibilities

     

    The Product Manager – Digital Experience will define the product vision, build the product roadmap, and lead the implementation and continuous improvement of United’s Digital Experience Platform (DXP), enabling the team to deliver more personalized, seamless, and data-driven experiences for customers. They will translate insights into actionable requirements, partner closely with engineering and design teams across the enterprise, and ensure features launch successfully and evolve based on data, feedback, and business goals. They will also serve as the primary point of contact for content publishing requests - from managing intake and estimation to ensuring that all requests are prioritized, implemented, and reported. They will also act as a strategic leader, identifying opportunities to optimize publishing tools and processes, improve stakeholder experience, and enhance the overall digital publishing framework.

     

    • Build and prioritize the DXP roadmap that balances business goals and technical feasibility

    • Ensure features are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and align with the product vision

    • Define and communicate the long-term vision and strategy for the DXP

    • Partner with engineering, design, and other teams to ensure alignment

    • Monitor product performance, gather user feedback, and drive iterative enhancements to the platform

    • Lead a diverse team of digital publishers and analysts by managing content intake, estimation, and resource allocation

    • Configure Jira workflows and dashboards, track performance and backlog health, and proactively communicate status, risks, and delivery timelines to stakeholders

     

    NOTE: This position provides a hybrid work arrangement including approximately 50% of the time spent working onsite at our Chicago office location and 50% remotely.

    Qualifications

    What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems / Technology, Business Administration / Management, or a similar field

    • 5+ years of product management experience in technology or digital products

    • 2+ years of experience leading a team of individual contributors

    • Proven ability to own product strategy and delivering measurable business impact

    • Proven ability in roadmap planning and prioritization

    • Advanced proficiency in Jira (workflows, dashboards, reporting)

    • Proven ability to work in Agile / Scrum environments

    • Clear and persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal

    • Ability to be a self-starter with a bias for action

    • Creative problem-solving skills, and a growth mindset approach

    • Proven ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

    • Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without visa sponsorship

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 2+ years of experience in project management

    • Atlassian / Jira certifications

    • PMP / Scrum

    • Knowledge of Content Management Systems

    • Experience with Digital Experience Platforms (DXP) such as Contentstack, Optimizely, and Adobe

     

    The base pay range for this role is $102,220.00 to $133,194.00.

     

    The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
