    Are you a detail-driven problem solver with a passion for keeping systems running smoothly? Join our team as a **Data Center Operations Specialist** , where your expertise will ensure the reliability and performance of our critical infrastructure.

    Responsibilities

    + Monitor system health and performance, proactively resolving issues to maintain uptime.

    + Automate routine tasks using scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.

    + Lead incident management efforts and collaborate across teams to restore services quickly.

    + Uphold data center security and compliance standards.

    + Maintain clear documentation of procedures, configurations, and resolutions.

    + Stay ahead of the curve with continuous learning in cloud technologies and monitoring tools.

    + Partner with IT Help Desk, system admins, and business units to meet SLAs and plan capacity.

    Skills/Abilities

    + Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis

    + Advanced scripting and automation

    + Familiarity with Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure

    + Excellent customer service and communication

    + Ability to follow procedures and escalate appropriately

    + Are logical, detail-oriented, and methodical in your approach

    + Can make independent decisions within established parameters

    + Enjoy solving complex operational challenges

    + Value collaboration and clear communication

    Qualifications

    + 4–6 years in data center operations, with proven leadership in team settings.

    + Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field preferred; Associate’s degree with relevant experience considered.

    **Pay Philosophy** : The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at MAPFRE are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

     

    Hourly pay $25.00-$33.00
