Teledyne is looking for an **Engineering Technician** to support engineering teams in the design, testing, and assembly of prototype systems and specialized test equipment. This hands-on role involves working with analog, digital, and video circuits, applying engineering principles to ensure performance and reliability.
What you will do
+ Assist engineers with layout, design, and troubleshooting of electronic units.
+ Conduct functional, environmental, and life-cycle tests on prototypes and production models.
+ Analyze test data and adjust/calibrate components to optimize performance.
+ Assemble and maintain electronic systems using schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
+ Perform preventative maintenance and resolve equipment malfunctions.
+ Provide technical support and user education for new and existing equipment.
+ Maintain documentation and system logs as required.
What you will bring
+ High school diploma required; vocational or technical training preferred.
+ Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in electronics or electro-mechanical systems.
+ Strong understanding of electronic theory, circuitry, and testing equipment (oscilloscopes, DVMs, signal generators, etc.).
+ Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
+ U.S. Citizenship required with ability to obtain/maintain a government security clearance.
Preferred Skills
+ Familiarity with ISO/AS9100 standards.
+ Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.
+ Working knowledge of design, analysis, or ERP software.

Salary Range:
$48,200.00-$64,300.000
