Job Summary and Qualifications

As a **Rehab Technician** , you will play a vital role in helping patients regain strength, independence, and confidence. You will work alongside therapists and nurses to support effective treatments and create a positive, caring environment that encourages patients on their healing journey. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact – helping patients move forward while living out our mission to improve lives every day.

Your responsibilities will include:

+ Assisting therapists with treatments and exercises and helping tailor therapy plans to each patient’s needs

+ Preparing, cleaning, and maintaining therapy equipment and treatment areas to create a safe, organized space for patients and staff

+ **Helping patients get to therapy sessions and assisting with dressing, positioning, and other needs so they feel comfortable and ready for care**

+ Tracking supplies, completing basic paperwork, and sharing important patient information with the rehab team

+ Supporting the team with tasks like helping during mealtimes or other duties that keep patient care running smoothly

What qualifications you will need:

+ Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

+ **Prior Aide experience in a hospital/clinical environment is required (Acute and IPR)**

+ **Knowledge in one or all of the following areas is preferred: Exercise Physiology, Medical Terminology, Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy**

+ **Must be comfortable moving and walking patients**

+ **Must be able to work a minimum of two 8-hour shifts a month with one of those being a weekend shift**
