Description
The Department of Communication and Journalism in the College of Arts & Sciences at Texas A&M University invites applications for a Lecturer position starting August 1, 2026. This position is a full-time, 9-month, academic professional track, non-tenure accruing position. Responsibilities for this position includes a teaching load of four sections of the “Communication Technology Skills” each semester. Salary for the position will be commensurate with entry-level instructors.
The Department of Communication and Journalism offers PhD, BA, and BS degrees, and has over 40 faculty members, more than 40 graduate students, and over 1,400 undergraduate students. Further information regarding the department is available at http://cmjr.tamu.edu.
Qualifications
Completed master's or Ph.D. in Communication or related discipline is required. Successful candidates will possess a strong pedagogical background for teaching media production. Candidates with a master's must also have significant teaching experience at the college level in communication or a related field.
