    + **Data Architecture & Modeling:** Collaborating with architects to design and develop data models, schemas, and a well-structured data warehouse/lake architecture.

    + **ETL/ELT Pipeline Development:** Building and maintaining efficient data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using Snowflake and other tools to process large datasets.

    + **Performance Optimization:** Monitoring system health, performance, and resource utilization; tuning SQL queries and configurations to enhance data processing speeds and cost efficiency.

    + **Data Integration:** Ensuring seamless data integration from various sources (e.g., AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage) and troubleshooting related issues.

    + **Security & Compliance:** Implementing and enforcing security measures, access controls, and encryption to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.

    + **Scripting & Automation:** Developing stored procedures, user-defined functions (UDFs) using Python or Snowflake Scripting, and automation tasks.

    + **Documentation:** Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for data architecture, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.

     

    Essential Qualifications and Skills

     

    + **Technical Expertise:** Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, database design principles, and experience with ETL processes and tools.

    + **Platform Experience:** In-depth understanding of the Snowflake platform features (e.g., virtual warehouses, Snowpipes, data sharing, time travel).

    + **Programming Languages:** Experience with Python or Snowflake scripting for development and automation.
