Mid-Level Production Associate

**Location:** Frederick, MD

**Schedule:** Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

**Pay Range:** $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Position is temp-to-hire.

Job Summary

A local food product manufacturer is looking to hire a Mid-Level Production Associate. This is an experienced production role responsible for supporting equipment operation, maintaining product quality, and assisting with team training. This position works independently, helps keep production running smoothly, and upholds food safety and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

+ Assist with setup, operation, and shutdown of production equipment.

+ Identify and report equipment or production issues.

+ Monitor and adjust basic machine settings under guidance.

+ Maintain material flow and restock supplies as needed.

+ Identify and isolate quality issues.

+ Train and guide temps and lower level production associates.

+ Follow cGMPs, SOPs, and company policies.

+ Rotate between production areas as needed.

Requirements

+ High school diploma or GED.

+ 12+ months of production, factory, or warehouse experience.

+ Familiarity with factory safety standards/food safety procedures.

+ Forklift or machine operation experience a plus.

+ Previous factory-scale food production experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

+ Stand and walk for extended periods.

+ Regularly lift up to 50 lbs; occasionally lift 50+ lbs to shoulder height.
