Our client, a leading organization in the distribution and logistics industry, is seeking an Operator 1, Packaging Operations to join their team. As an Operator 1, Packaging Operations, you will be part of the warehouse support team responsible for efficient product handling and shipment preparation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Operator 1, Packaging Operations

**Location:** Covington, GA

**Pay Range:** $16.50/hr

**Shift:** Days, Evenings (11:00 am - 7:30 pm)

What's the Job?

+ Processing customer orders by scanning bar codes, labeling boxes, and preparing packages for shipment

+ Palletizing completed orders, including scanning, retrieving, and placing products on pallets

+ Re-palletizing products to ensure proper shipment readiness

+ Operating dock manifest duties such as scanning pallets and running shrink wrap

+ Transporting pallets using material handling equipment as needed

What's Needed?

+ Ability to effectively communicate ideas and information

+ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced distribution environment

+ Ability to read and interpret distribution documents accurately

+ Ability to operate material handling equipment and RF scanners

+ Basic math, organizational, and computer skills
