Our client, GE Vernova Inc., a global leader in the energy and power generation industry, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer II to join their team.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer II, you will be part of the Steam Power Services engineering team supporting outage planning, repairs, and technical guidance. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and proven project management experience to align successfully within the organization.

What’s the Job?
+ Provide technical guidance during outage planning and execution for steam turbines.
+ Lead complex repairs on rotors, diaphragms, casings, and valves.
+ Act as technical interface for repair projects with cross-functional teams.
+ Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for product/process issues.
+ Design steam turbine components and collaborate with global engineering teams.
What’s Needed?
+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
+ 5+ years of experience in steam turbine service engineering.
+ 2+ years of field execution experience (preferably in power generation).
+ Strong oral and written communication skills and project management abilities.
+ Catia CAD experience is a plus.
