    Our client, a leading organization in the pharmaceutical sciences industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to join their dynamic team. As a Procurement Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting business operations with a focus on procure-to-pay processes within the Pharmaceutical Sciences (PharmSci) department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach, which will enable you to thrive in this collaborative environment and contribute to the company's success.

     

    **Job Title:** Procurement Coordinator - Groton, CT: Onsite

    **Location:** Groton, CT (Onsite)

     

    Pay Range: 28-31/Hour on W2 only

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Generate requisitions and manage purchase orders across all lines within PharmSci, ensuring completeness and accuracy of associated documents.

    + Interface with colleagues, Procurement, Finance, and vendors to facilitate seamless procure-to-pay processes.

    + Assist with setting up new vendors and maintaining existing ones in Ariba, including extending end dates or closing purchase orders as needed.

    + Review invoices, identify discrepancies, and communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues.

    + Support operational reporting by gathering monthly metrics related to purchase orders, spend, discrepancies, and contractor costs, providing insights to business owners.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Associate Degree in Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

    + 3-5 years of relevant experience in procurement, finance, or a similar role.

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, data analysis).

    + Experience with Ariba Spend Management or similar procurement tools is preferred.

    + Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks across global time zones.
