    Machine Operator – Injection Molding / Extrusion (Multiple Openings)

    **Location:** Largo, FL

    **Shift:** 3rd Shift | 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

    **Pay Rate:** $19.49/hr + $2.00 shift differential ( **$21.49/hr total** )

    Position Overview

    We are looking for Machine Operators for overnight manufacturing roles in Injection Molding and Extrusion. These are hands-on positions responsible for operating, setting up, and monitoring production equipment to ensure high-quality output in a fast-paced environment.

    Injection Molding Operator – Key Responsibilities

    + Operate and monitor injection molding machines

    + Perform machine setup, startups, and first-piece approvals

    + Conduct visual inspections to ensure product quality

    + Troubleshoot mechanical and process issues

    + Read blueprints and use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers)

    + Maintain a clean and safe work area following 5S standards

    + Follow all safety, PPE, and quality procedures

    Extrusion Operator – Key Responsibilities

    + Set up and operate extrusion and downstream equipment

    + Install dies, machine screws, and tooling using hand tools

    + Adjust machine settings to meet product specifications

    + Inspect products for defects and initiate corrective actions

    + Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping tasks

    + Complete production documentation and enter data into system

    + Coil, package, and label finished products

    + Use calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions

    Qualifications

    + Prior **machine operating experience required**

    + Injection molding or extrusion experience preferred (role-dependent)

    + Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

    + Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools

    + Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

    + Ability to work independently on overnight shift
