What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and protocols, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.

+ Observe and report any unusual activities, security-related hazards, or incidents according to established protocols.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, site personnel, and first responders as needed.

+ Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized access.

+ Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken during the shift in detailed and accurate reports.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least one year of security-related experience is required.

+ An armed guard card or license is required.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
