As a **Security Officer - Tech Campus Access** in **Pasadena, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your role is to help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will be visible throughout your shift, supporting a secure environment and upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

+ Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals in accordance with site-specific procedures.

+ Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access-related inquiries and directions.

+ Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies, responding to incidents and emergencies as needed.

+ Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through visible presence and attentive monitoring.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including sensitive areas where access is restricted.

+ Maintain detailed logs and reports of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by site management.

+ Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site contacts to support a secure and orderly environment at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
