As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, interacting with the public, and delivering exceptional customer service, all while upholding our core values of teamwork, integrity, and caring. Position Type: Flex Friday's 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Pay Rate: $20.76 / Hour

What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns or emergencies according to Allied Universal protocols.

+ Interact with visitors, employees, and/or contractors, offering assistance and serving as a visible Allied Universal representative.

+ Support emergency response activities when required, following all site-specific and Allied Universal guidelines.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities, observations, and incidents as required by site protocols.

+ Operate communication devices and/or security systems as needed to support security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

+ An armed guard card or license is required.

+ CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.

+ Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
