As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

+ Provide excellent customer service while carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergencies.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas in accordance with site protocols.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as directed during critical incidents.

+ Document all incidents, observations, and activities accurately and promptly as required by Allied Universal and site guidelines.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions at government locations.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Possess a college degree.

+ Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Possess a corrections officer license.

+ Possess one of the following: DD214 with honorable discharge, an associates degree or 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.

+ Possess a law enforcement officer license.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
