Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including the business interior and perimeter.

+ Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to Allied Universal and/or site management.

+ Assist with access control by verifying credentials and/or authorizations as required.

+ Help to deter disruptive behavior, theft, or other criminal activity through a visible presence and thorough patrols.

+ Document incidents and/or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal protocols.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Possess a Level III armed certification for Texas.

+ An armed guard card or license is preferred.

+ Baton certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
