As a **Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrols** in **San Diego, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine checks, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to situations as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the technology-focused location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor the premises for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings to appropriate personnel.

+ Support emergency response activities as required, maintaining composure and following Allied Universal guidelines.

+ Maintain clear and detailed records of patrols, incidents, and observations as directed by site requirements.

+ Assist with access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering the location and/or restricted areas.

Minimum Requirements:

+ CPR and First Aid are preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
