    As a **Security Officer - Unarmed Logistics Patrol** in **Des Moines, IA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution setting, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment.     What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location as well as its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.

    + Monitor and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns observed during patrols.

    + Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding incidents or security-related matters.

    + Assist with access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises as required by site procedures.

    + Support other security-related duties as assigned in accordance with the needs of the logistics and distribution environment.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
