IT Systems Administrator
We are seeking an experienced **IT Systems Administrator** to maintain, upgrade, and manage our organization’s software, hardware, and IT infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of all systems while supporting business operations and strategic goals. A strong background in **Microsoft 365 administration** is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
+ **Administer and manage the Microsoft 365 environment** (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Intune) – **this is a core requirement**
+ **Customer Service Mentality**
+ Manage VMware virtualization environment
+ Oversee antivirus and endpoint protection platforms; respond to virus/malware incidents
+ Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, and DNS
+ Administer VoIP phone systems
+ Maintain physical security systems (alarms, cameras, badge access)
+ Administer firewalls and other security platforms
+ Perform regular patching and upgrades across all systems
+ Plan capacity and optimize performance for infrastructure components
+ Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure
+ Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
+ Evaluate, recommend, and implement new technologies
+ Use Jira ticketing system for tracking and prioritizing work
+ Develop and maintain technical documentation and system configurations
+ Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
+ Promote and support AI tools and automation across business units
+ Provide end-user support and handle desktop support tickets (including acting as primary support when needed)
Education & Experience Requirements:
+ **Minimum 3 years of experience in Systems Administration**
+ **Minimum 3 years of experience managing Microsoft 365 environments** (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Intune)
+ Minimum 2 years of experience with VMware virtualization
+ Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems
+ Minimum 2 years of experience supporting networks and infrastructure
+ High School diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred
Skills & Competencies:
+ Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS and **Microsoft 365 administration**
+ Solid understanding of VMware virtualization
+ Working knowledge of networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls)
+ Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to automate tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, batch)
+ Highly organized, self-starter, able to manage multiple priorities
+ Critical thinking and sound decision-making abilities
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
+ Ability to create and maintain clear technical documentation
+ Professional and approachable demeanor
**Pay Details:** $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
