Adecco is hiring for a Production Assembler / PCB Technician in Sodus, NY! This temp-to-hire position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a precision manufacturing environment focused on quality, reliability, and teamwork. Responsibilities:
+ Prepare parts for insertion and assemble through-hole printed circuit boards.
+ Perform hand soldering, SMT and through-hole touch-up, rework, and repair.
+ Read and interpret assembly drawings, bills of materials, and process instructions.
+ Adjust or trim components to meet specified electrical or dimensional requirements.
+ Crimp, stake, press-fit, and assemble hardware onto PCBs.
+ Mount and wire components such as switches, BNC connectors, and LEDs on chassis panels and enclosures.
+ Install finished assemblies and subassemblies into cases and metalwork.
+ Conduct visual inspections, go/no-go testing, and minor electrical testing.
+ Perform PCB modifications including trace cutting, running jumpers, fine-pitch SMT rework, and pad/trace repair.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ Experience with through-hole and surface mount PCB assembly.
+ Experience with SMT and through-hole repair, rework, and touch-up.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
+ Solid understanding of ESD-controlled manufacturing environments.
+ Familiarity with water wash and cleanliness testing preferred.
+ IPC certifications (J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/21) preferred.
+ Strong attendance, attention to detail, and manual dexterity.
Physical Requirements:
+ Ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach as needed.
+ Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
+ Ability to perform fine motor tasks for soldering and assembly.

**Pay Details:** $21.00 to $25.00 per hour
