    Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for **Material Handler – 1st Shift** opportunities.

     

    This is an excellent **Temp to Hire** opportunity to join a company that supports production operations through efficient warehouse and material handling processes.

     

    What’s in this Material Handler position for you?

     

    **Pay:** $17.00 per hour

    **Shift:** Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

    **Overtime:** OT potential on Fridays

    **Assignment Type:** Temp to Hire

    **Pay Schedule:** Weekly paycheck

    Responsibilities for a Material Handler include but are not limited to:

    Material Handling & Warehouse Support:

    + Handle, store, and pick materials to support production areas.

    + Pull and stock various materials for assembly.

    + Prepare jobs in advance to ensure materials are ready for production.

    + Pick up and move trash, recycling, and corrugated materials.

    Equipment Operation:

    + Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment (forklift certification may be required).

    + Use pallet jacks, scales, and other measuring or handling equipment.

    Inventory & Organization:

    + Maintain accurate records, counts, and locations of parts.

    + Keep work areas organized and orderly.

    + Perform some inspection of materials as required.

    Computer & SAP Transactions:

    + Use a laptop to complete SAP transactions.

    + Respond to email requests related to material movement and inventory.

    + Maintain accurate documentation in SAP and other systems.

    Workplace Conditions:

    + Manufacturing and warehouse environment.

    + Combination of sitting and standing throughout the shift.

    + Physical work involving materials and equipment.

    Physical Requirements:

    + Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

    + Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

    + Ability to climb a roll-around ladder.

    Candidate Requirements:

    + SAP and general computer skills preferred.

    + Strong attention to detail.

    + Ability to read, understand, and interpret drawings written in English.

    + Familiarity with measuring instruments and material-handling equipment.

    + Willingness to obtain forklift certification if required.
