The Scheduling Coordinator supports the Master Scheduling Manager in planning and coordinating production activities to ensure efficient operations and compliance with FDA, FSMA, and Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standards. This role is critical in maintaining food safety and quality while optimizing production schedules across company and co-packer facilities.
Essential Responsibilities
+ Utilize forecasting software to determine production requirements.
+ Schedule production at company and co-packer locations.
+ Assign new item SKUs and define production processes.
+ Manage rework activities at company and co-packers.
+ Coordinate shipments of finished goods to company and external warehouses, including freight carrier arrangements.
+ Request ingredient documentation from Supply Chain for co-packer production.
+ Reconcile co-packer invoices and provide documentation to Accounts Payable.
+ Update co-packer pricing and spray dry base sales prices in ERP system quarterly or as needed.
+ Determine ingredient requirements for upcoming production campaigns.
+ Process production orders in ERP for co-packer-produced products.
+ Reconcile inventory at co-packers’ post-production campaigns.
+ Coordinate return of unused raw ingredients to company after campaigns.
+ Enter loads into TMS system as necessary.
+ Perform additional duties as assigned by the Master Scheduling Manager.
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
Experience:
+ 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with scheduling or supply chain responsibilities.
Skills:
+ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
+ Experience with ERP/MRP systems required.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
+ Strong problem-solving abilities and accountability.
+ Ability to work collaboratively and maintain commitment to customer satisfaction.

**Pay Details:** $65,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
