Description

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at a leading company in the hospitality industry. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company’s payments by processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely vendor payments in accordance with established financial policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Verify and process incoming invoices from vendors and suppliers.

Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents to ensure accuracy.

Issue payments via check or electronic transfer, following company authorization procedures.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor files and payment records.

Resolve payment discrepancies and respond to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Reconcile accounts payable records and support accurate month-end closing processes.

Provide supporting documentation for audits and assist with internal and external audit requests.

Ensure all payments and records are handled in compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards.

Requirements

Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role preferred.

Familiarity with Concur or similar software.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with accounting software.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
