Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in San Jose, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance while supporting strategic initiatives for the organization. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and a deep understanding of financial processes within the credit union industry.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed financial analysis to evaluate organizational performance and identify areas for improvement.

• Develop complex financial models to support strategic decision-making processes.

• Perform variance analysis to compare actual financial results against forecasts and budgets.

• Generate ad hoc financial reports and analyses to address specific business needs and questions.

• Utilize data mining techniques to extract and interpret relevant financial information.

• Collaborate with the Asset/Liability Committee to provide insights and recommendations.

• Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management.

• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial data to support planning and forecasting activities.

• Monitor market trends and economic factors impacting the credit union industry.

• Assist in implementing best practices for financial operations and analysis. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis within a credit union or similar organization.

• Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced analytical techniques.

• Strong skills in variance analysis and interpreting complex financial data.

• Experience with ad hoc financial reporting and data analysis.

• Familiarity with data mining methods and tools.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial information.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

• Advanced proficiency in financial systems and software applications.
