Description We are looking for an experienced Financial Project Manager to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this long-term contract role, you will oversee financial initiatives, ensuring efficient processes and successful outcomes. This position requires a proactive approach to managing complex projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
• Lead financial project management activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring of progress.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to finalize resources and budgets for multi-phase projects.
• Oversee account reconciliation, month-end close processes, and annual revenue reporting.
• Manage system implementation efforts, including SAP S/4HANA integration.
• Develop and execute training strategies, ensuring effective knowledge transfer across teams.
• Collaborate with external consulting firms and internal departments to achieve project goals.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organizational policies.
• Monitor project timelines and deliverables, providing regular updates to leadership.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with project analysts, training leads, and other team members.
• Identify risks and implement solutions to ensure successful project delivery. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial project management.
• Proficiency in SAP Financials and SAP S/4HANA systems.
• Strong expertise in account reconciliation and month-end close processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage annual revenue reporting and system implementations.
• Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
• Experience coordinating training strategies and working with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
