Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team on a part-time, contract basis in Vancouver, Washington. This role will focus on essential accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily operations. If you have a background in manufacturing and proficiency in financial software, we encourage you to apply. This is an 8 hour/week position onsite in Vancouver, WA.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes with accuracy and efficiency.

• Conduct regular check runs to maintain timely payment schedules.

• Process wire transfers and ensure proper documentation.

• Transfer and organize financial files as needed to support accounting operations.

• Perform routine audits to ensure checks and balances are up-to-date.

• Utilize SyteLine software to manage accounting tasks and workflows.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline financial procedures.

• Maintain organized records and assist with reconciliations.

• Support the accounting department in meeting deadlines and addressing immediate priorities.

Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level.

• Familiarity with SyteLine software or similar accounting tools.

• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and processes.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with team members.
