Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team on a long-term contract basis. Based in San Francisco, California, this role focuses on overseeing financial operations for multifamily property portfolios within the real estate investment sector. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting background and a proven ability to manage complex financial reporting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the financial operations for multiple multifamily property units, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.

• Perform month-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.

• Prepare and review general ledger accounts to maintain financial accuracy.

• Oversee financial statement audits and ensure timely completion.

• Handle expense management using Concur and ensure proper documentation.

• Conduct bond reporting related to real estate investments.

• Utilize accounting software such as Yardi and RealPage for property management tasks.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial objectives are met.

• Generate detailed financial reports for management review. Requirements • At least 10 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on real estate investment or property management.

• Proficiency in month-end close procedures and general ledger management.

• Expertise in financial statement audits and account reconciliation.

• Advanced knowledge of journal entries and financial reporting.

• Experience with accounting software, specifically Yardi, RealPage, and Concur.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Familiarity with bond reporting in the real estate sector.

• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
