    Responsibilities:

    + Drive core accounting operations with accurate, timely financial records

    + Oversee day-to-day accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations

    + Manage payroll and accounts payable processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy

    + Lead monthly close; deliver detailed financial reports for management teams

    + Supervise and mentor AP & payroll staff, promoting process efficiency

    + Support job costing and profitability analysis for ongoing projects

    + Strengthen internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements

    + Identify and implement improvements to accounting systems and processes

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

    + 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (manufacturing, construction, field services, or similar industry preferred)

    + Proficient in full-cycle bookkeeping, general ledger, job costing, and accrual accounting

    + Prior experience overseeing AP and/or payroll functions

    + Advanced skills with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar) and Excel

    + CPA or CPA-candidate strongly preferred

    + Experience in multi-entity or multi-location environments a plus
