Description We are looking for a skilled Programmer to join our team in Alexandria, Virginia. This position is ideal for professionals who excel in software development, coding, and problem-solving while ensuring high-quality application performance and functionality. Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance software applications based on functional and technical requirements.

• Conduct thorough testing of newly developed programs and enhancements to ensure quality and reliability.

• Collaborate with team leads and architects to align designs with customer needs and technical standards.

• Create and maintain operational documentation to support application development and deployment.

• Utilize debugging, configuration management, and software design tools to ensure accurate implementation.

• Monitor job statuses and perform recovery tasks as needed for nightly scheduled jobs.

• Participate in structured code reviews and walkthroughs to maintain coding standards.

• Analyze system performance and apply tuning diagnostics to optimize operating systems.

• Coordinate with other developers and assist in managing application team processes.

• Provide clear and timely status updates to relevant stakeholders. Requirements • Proficiency in Groovy Jenkins pipeline scripting language and Docker.

• Strong knowledge of PowerShell for scripting and automation tasks.

• Experience in software code management tools and debugging techniques.

• Ability to design applications that meet both functional and technical standards.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to research and resolve issues independently.

• Familiarity with performance diagnostics and tuning for operating systems.

• Strong communication skills to provide useful status updates and collaborate effectively.
