Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in San Rafael, California. This role requires a reliable and efficient individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is skilled at multitasking. As a vital part of our team, you will handle a variety of accounting and administrative tasks with precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

• Accurately process disbursement transactions and ensure vendor records are organized and up-to-date.

• Manage the time and billing system, ensuring accurate integration with the accounting system.

• Prepare journal entries and generate financial statements during monthly and year-end closings.

• Maintain employee records and oversee payroll processing.

• Collaborate with management to complete assigned tasks and projects efficiently.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards while handling financial data.

• Provide support for budgeting and financial forecasting processes.

• Address inquiries related to financial transactions and reports in a timely manner. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in full charge bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and familiarity with Sage/Peachtree accounting systems is preferred.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word are mandatory.

• Strong communication skills and a people-oriented approach.

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

• Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to collaboration.
