Description We are looking for a skilled Sr FP& A Analyst to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This long-term contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to financial planning and analysis processes for a dynamic organization. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and data management to drive impactful business decisions.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts to support organizational goals.
• Utilize Adaptive Insights and other EPM tools to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Conduct detailed analysis of capital management strategies to optimize resource allocation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial planning with retail and merchandising objectives.
• Perform data entry tasks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, highlighting key trends and variances.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within FP& A functions and implement effective solutions.
• Monitor financial performance against established benchmarks and recommend adjustments as needed.
• Support decision-making processes by providing financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures across all activities. Requirements • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis within retail or merchandising industries.
• Proficiency in using Adaptive Insights and other enterprise performance management tools.
• Strong understanding of capital management and budgeting processes.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in performing data entry and financial reporting tasks.
• Ability to effectively communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
• Familiarity with EPM tools and their application in financial analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
