    Description

    Tess Gilmore with Robert Half is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing invoices and payments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of A/P processes and a commitment to maintaining financial integrity.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Process and verify invoices, ensuring proper coding and approvals.

    + Manage vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.

    + Prepare and execute payments via checks, ACH, and other methods.

    + Reconcile A/P transactions and assist with month-end closing.

    + Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance and audits.

    + Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.

    Requirements

    Requirements

    + Minimum 2+ years of accounts payable experience.

    + Proficiency in QuickBooks or equivalent accounting software.

    + Strong understanding of A/P processes and accounting principles.

    + Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

    + Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

    + Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
