Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee and execute commercial construction projects in the south metro. This role requires a strong background in managing project scopes, budgets, schedules, and ensuring high-quality delivery. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills and a thorough understanding of financial control, resource coordination, and technical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously, ranging from smaller-scale initiatives to larger projects.

• Develop and maintain detailed installation schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations.

• Oversee structured audio-visual setups, and Wi-Fi installations.

• Coordinate crews, supervisors, and subcontractors to optimize labor distribution and maintain project timelines.

• Monitor project economics, including budget tracking, material forecasting, productivity analysis, and cost-to-complete evaluations.

• Execute change management processes, including pricing, approvals, and documentation to safeguard project margins.

• Ensure compliance with plans and specifications, track addenda, and enforce scope boundaries effectively.

• Manage procurement timelines and lead times to prevent delays and ensure smooth delivery of materials.

• Handle commissioning tasks, including programming, certification, and integration with client systems.

• Deliver comprehensive project turnover, including training, manuals, warranty documentation, and acceptance testing.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing commercial construction projects.

• Strong understanding of structured cabling, security systems, AV setups, and Wi-Fi installations.

• Proficiency in construction project fundamentals, including scheduling, change orders, RFIs, and closeout packages.

• Ability to track and analyze financial metrics, including labor productivity and material usage.

• Skilled in coordinating teams, subcontractors, and resources across multiple active projects.

• Familiarity with interpreting construction plans/specifications and enforcing scope boundaries.

• Competence in end-to-end delivery processes, including testing, certification, and client integration.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data tracking and reporting.
